Fragranced

You sneak into my life like a morning
ray of light, surround me with wanting arms
long strands of hair fall around your pale moon
soft, shimmering with stars, I love it black
your breath, cooled by melon and strawberries,
rushes over my cheek then down my neck
I loose myself in you

A lily alone, planted on the banks
of a dry river bed, you brought new waters
into my life, I swim in the pools
of your garden, petalled with a plethora
of subtle scents, I dress in different
colours since falling for you
